Xworks X20i-64 Workstation



The all new Xworks X20i-64 delivers the power of multi-core, dual-sockets to the demanding workstation environment, the ultimate performance for analysis work, digital content creation, CAD, MCAD, electronic design automation, and all other graphics workstation applications.

Designed for the most demanding CAD and animation applications, it has a feature rich specification as standard including fully certified NVIDIA Quadro or ATI FireGL PCI Express x16 graphics, up to 32GB DDR-2 ECC Fully Buffered memory, Intel® Embedded RAID Technology II and Dual Gigabit LAN (Intel® PRO/1000 with Intel® Advanced I/O Technology). Create realistic animations, intricate CAD assemblies and complex scientific visualizations with ease!

The X20i-64 uses a genuine Intel® chassis (Akasa option available) that is designed specifically to accommodate Intel's dual Xeon® architecture and is extremely reliable under full load conditions. It can be specified to accommodate an additional backplane and 6 hard drive hot swap drive bays (shown above) supporting either Serial-ATA or SAS drives for applications requiring RAID support.

Every X20i-64 has it's internal fans replaced with special silent fans to keep the noise levels to an absolute minimum. For the ultimate in noise reduction, Xworks recommends our latest Akasa option which features replacement CPU fans.



The X20i-64 incorporates several technological advances :-

• Intel® Extended Memory Technology 64 (EM64T). This allows for simultaneous processing of 32-bit and 64-bit applications, and allows for addressing of up to 64GB system memory. Best suited for Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition or Mircrosoft Windows Vista.

• Execute Disable Bit (EDB). A CPU feature that can improve protection against a certain class of malicious attacks. Provides on-chip antiviral protection, EDB allows the processor to classify areas in memory where application code can execute.

• Intel® Enhanced Speedstep Technology (EIST). A CPU feature that can improve dramatically reduce system noise and operating temperature when the system is idle.
