Introducing the Xworks X2i
The X2i workstation is an entry level Intel Core 2 Quad based platform ideal as a low cost CAD workstation. It is a micro ATX design ideal where space is limited. If required, the slightly more expensive Xworks X8 workstation range offers additional drive bays and the full range of NVIDIA and ATI FirePro reference cards (the X2i offers a selection).

Serial ATA2 Interface
• This motherboard supports SATA2 hard drives based on the new SATA2 3Gb/s storage specification. The onboard SB700 southbridge allows RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 10 configurations. There are six SATA connectors.
