The X6i-64 incorporates Intel’s next generation 64 bit workstation technology and provides unparalleled performance with both 32bit and 64 bit operating systems. It incorporates a feature rich specification including support for Intel® Pentium 4 processors (LGA775), fully certified NVidia or ATi PCI Express x16 graphics, Intel® Matrix Storage Technology (RAID), Gigabit LAN, and Intel® High Definition audio.



The X6i-64 incorporates several technological advances :-

• Intel® Extended Memory Technology 64 (EM64T). This allows for simultaneous processing of 32-bit and 64-bit applications, and allows for addressing of up to 64GB system memory. Best used in conjunction with Microsoft Windows XP x64 Professional.

• Support for Intel® P4 Extreme Edition with a 1066MHz Front Side Bus.

• Execute Disable Bit (EDB). A CPU feature that can improve protection against a certain class of malicious attacks. Provides on-chip antiviral protection, The Execute Disable Bit allows the processor to classify areas in memory where application code can execute.
